Super Oppressed PPL. Super Oppressed PPL.

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars

Well executed with the Super Mario graphics but its a hack premise. Comedy should be used to punch UP at those who abuse their power, not DOWN at the marginalized who are asking for a seat at the table.

Seems like a waste of time and talent fighting a straw-man argument. No one is telling you that you CAN'T create a protagonist in any image you want, but when a designer hands the game off to the player THEY are telling the player that if they're going to play then they must play as only the options that have been presented to them.

As a white, heterosexual, Christian, male with no physical disabilities I have no difficulty understanding that people who are not exactly like me might be kind if disappointed that they're under represented (in some cases, completely UNrepresented) in gaming.
